Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Full Time in Sylvania, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach while responding to security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access procedures, and the reporting of unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
