GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Response Officer for the Events Team in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high security standards at events.

You will interact with guests across shifts, monitor premises, conduct patrols, and manage access points. Qualifications include U.S. work authorization, HS diploma, a valid BSIS Guard Card, and at least basic security training.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BSIS Guard Card and 32hr trainings required; may be obtained during hiring.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and responsiveness.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security and safety.
• Conduct area patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points by managing traffic flow and preventing overcrowding.
• Conduct bag checks, ticket verification, and ID checks for restricted areas.
• Assist guests with directions or questions.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Response Officer – Events Team, your primary focus will be customer service. You’ll interact with people across all shifts in a variety of settings. If you’re looking to be at the heart of exciting events and provide exceptional service, this role is for you!

• Schedule: Event Team must be flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as scheduling needs may vary based on event needs.

Responsibilities for a Response Event Security Guard :

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct area patrols to spot any suspicious activity

• Conduct bag checks, checking tickets, and verifying IDs to ensure only authorized personnel enters restricted areas
• Assist guests with directions or questions
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Response Security Guard:

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem-solving skills
• Driver's license preferred
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
