Job summary

MercyOne Health System is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe hospital environment and deter threats to patients, staff and visitors. You will provide a visible security presence and respond to incidents as part of a coordinated team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and completion of BLS/CPI within 60 days. Evening shifts with potential for varied night/weekend coverage are included.

As a Security Officer at MercyOne, you will provide a physical presence for the purpose of prevention and/or detection of adverse conditions which would place the safety and security of the hospital environment at risk while protecting welfare of patients, visitors, staff and facility assets.

Pay Range: $18.25 - $27.37

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
