Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies and emergency response procedures.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions.

Job Description

As a Security Officer in Marston, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Pay Rate: $15.27 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, perimeter locations, parking areas, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
