Allied Universal, a leading security services company, is hiring an Entry Authorization Security Officer for a Marion, OH manufacturing site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a welcoming, safe environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to alarms, conducting patrols, documenting incidents, and delivering professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue temporary badges, and maintain entry/exit records per site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed to appropriate contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other locations to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, access-control concerns, and shift observations in required reports/logs.

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Marion, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will monitor access activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue temporary badges or passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, access-control concerns, and shift-related observations in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
