Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Authorization in Chelmsford, MA. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with a scheduled DayTime Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM shift. Responsibilities include access-control, incident response, and regular patrols across site grounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, screen visitors, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control inbound and outbound traffic at gates, loading areas, and employee entrances; communicate directions, access requirements, and delivery procedures professionally.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Authorization in Chelmsford, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
