Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment in Beachwood, OH. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with an option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $15.40 per hour with a day schedule. The position provides potential to scale to up to 40 hours per week and build toward a full‑time career in the security industry.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
