• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by site procedures; report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions.
• Complete activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation for leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Foot Patrol in Bishop, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support a professional environment.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
