Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol in Lancaster, TX. This role offers a flexible, reliable schedule with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide customer service at a retail location, with a pay rate of $19.25 per hour and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, receiving locations, and entrances.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol in Lancaster, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, receiving locations, employee entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious activity, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
