Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Tablet Reporting Driver in Long Beach, CA. This role provides flexible, reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $20.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include resident and visitor safety, incident response, patrols, and monitoring access points. Minimum requirements include a valid driver's license, HS diploma, and background check; drug screen

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, unusual activity, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Tablet Reporting Driver in Long Beach, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
