Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors at a financial institution following site policies.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report issues to leadership and client.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and document events.
• Maintain daily activity reports and communicate observations to leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of banking facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious activity, access issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and documenting events as required.


• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
