Job summary

Allied Universal in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol to provide reliable, customer-focused security at a logistics site. You will work fixed anchor shifts and have the option to pick up additional shifts across multiple sites.

The position pays $15.68 per hour with DayTime Wednesday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; it offers flexible scheduling, training for advancement, and access to employee perks and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, package-handling concerns, vehicle traffic issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Clearwater, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
