Allied Universal in Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Mobile Patrol Driver to provide reliable security services at a commercial real estate site, with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, property-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
