Pay Rate: $22.88 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Greet visitors, employees, vendors, and contractors; verify access authorization; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and other security‑related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Support a professional and welcoming reception environment by providing directions, answering routine inquiries, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
