Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for Avon, OH. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, designed to build income stability while pursuing a potential path to full-time employment.

Responsibilities include patient and visitor security, site patrols, incident response, access control, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around hospital morgue areas.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters, reporting unusual conditions and potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and directions to support an orderly and welcoming healthcare environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Security in Avon, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
