Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Arrival Verification in Lake City, GA. This role offers reliable, consistent hours with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with a Sunday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM schedule. The Anchor Shifts and Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program enable extra earnings across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Staff the front desk and control access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor entry activity, communications, and applicable security-related systems from a stationary post; report suspicious activity, access concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying emergency services and/or site contacts as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and provide clear information and directions to support orderly operations at the location.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Arrival Verification in Lake City, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:

• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
