• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.

• Screen and document vehicles, deliveries, and shipments; report irregularities.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations following escalation procedures.
• Conduct patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Screen and document incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and shipments in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
