Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screening in Shepherdsville, KY. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the possibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by performing site-specific security procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries entering the location according to established procedures, documenting unusual activity or prohibited items.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access for visitors and contractors while maintaining entry records and directing guests appropriately.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screening in Shepherdsville, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
