Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced EMT Patrol Driver in Three Rivers, MI. This role offers flexible hours at an assigned site with the ability to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.52 per hour. Schedule includes DayTime Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM and Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. EMT certification, valid driver’s license, and 2+ years in healthcare are required; background check and drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required.
• Valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
• At least 2 years of healthcare or medical-related experience.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and prepare accurate reports.
• Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, unusual activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an EMT certification.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
