Allied Universal in Monroe, MI is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Authorization to provide reliable, flexible shifts at an assigned site, with the possibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $16.40 per hour. The role emphasizes customer service, access control, and incident response, with a six-month anchor shift and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a utility-services location, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of visitor activity, incidents, access-control concerns, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
