Allied Universal in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Coordinator. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the ability to pick up additional shifts through our platform to increase earnings. Pay rate is $17.70 per hour.

Schedule: DayTime Fri11:00 PM - 07:30 AM. Candidates need at least 2 years of security experience, strong customer service, high school diploma, and a valid guard card is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other communications; document and dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and support incident documentation.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor information, and shift-related records while handling sensitive financial institution information with discretion.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and designated areas as assigned; report unusual conditions and support a professional environment.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Coordinator in Owings Mills, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
