Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced – Alarm Panel Monitoring in Athens, GA. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, up to 40 hours per week if needed.

Responsibilities include customer service, responding to incidents and alarms, patrolling premises, monitoring access, and documenting activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while communicating observations to incoming personnel and management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Panel Monitoring in Athens, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while communicating observations and relevant information to incoming personnel and management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security‑related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
