Aus Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced (Unarmed Patrol Driver) to provide reliable, customer-focused security services at an assigned site with fixed shifts and optional pick-up shifts.

Pay rate is $23.00/hour with daytime schedule; a six-month anchor is required. You may earn more by picking up additional shifts across multiple sites and building up to a full-time schedule if desired.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate public service locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, communicating relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Job schedule:

Daytime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Pre-employment requirement: Valid driver's license - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

How this role works:

• Fixed-shift commitment ("Anchor shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn more, claim-a-shift program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
