Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Driver in Columbus, IN. The role involves unarmed patrols at a manufacturing and industrial site, providing customer service, monitoring access, and responding to incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required and shifts run daytime through multiple weekend coverage. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and ability to pass a drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, medical events, and other critical situations following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and security concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
