Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer in Boulder, CO. This full-time position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and may involve unarmed patrols, access control, and incident reporting at an aerospace/defense site.

Responsibilities include delivering professional customer service, maintaining logs, and complying with site procedures. A high school diploma is required, with CPR/First Aid preferred and a background check where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Employment may involve background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials and contractor entry requirements per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts and responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations and incidents.
