Job summary

Allied Universal in Cofield, NC is hiring a Security Officer Patrol for an unarmed role at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors with documentation using site logs and devices.

The position is full-time with a daytime schedule; training and career development are available within Allied Universal's caring, team-oriented culture.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor visitor, contractor, and employee access in accordance with site requirements and document relevant activities in required logs or reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and promptly reporting unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
