Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for the Data Operations Center (SOC) to safeguard clients across industries. You will provide service, monitor CCTV and alarms, and respond to incidents as part of a collaborative security team in Goodyear, AZ.

Position requires baseline education or equivalent experience, background check, and possible licensing. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving roles, with opportunities for training and growth within a large security organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws; prior criminal history considered
• Drug screening required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; adapt to client site conditions
• Monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms to ensure security
• Operate facility computer systems as assigned and maintain situational awareness
• Contact Emergency Services (EMT, Fire Dept., etc.) when needed and manage emergencies

As a Security Operations Center Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Security Officer - Data Operations Center (SOC)

Pay Rate: $22.00 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms.
• Monitor and operate facility computers systems regularly, as assigned.
• Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately. Contact Emergency Services, such as EMT, Fire Dept., etc.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
