Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring Data Entry & Transportation Security Officers in Dekalb, IL. This full-time role includes data entry and patrol duties to maintain a safe environment for clients and visitors.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and a customer-service mindset. Pre-employment screening applies, with on-site duties and rotating shifts across client sites.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Data entry - logging truck information into the computer system.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

TheData Entry & Transportation Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
