Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Console Operator in Los Angeles, CA. You will support security operations at a commercial real estate site, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents. Join a team committed to safety, reliability, and customer service.

Ideal candidates will have high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable with computers/tablets. This is a full-time role with a daytime-to-evening schedule and a pay rate of $21.60 per hour.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Console Operatorin Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
