Job summary

Allied Universal in Newington, NH is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Concierge to staff the front desk at a utilities location. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, control access, and provide excellent customer service while upholding site procedures.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a utilities location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and access authorization, and maintain visitor sign-in records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or other security-related systems from the front desk and report unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with maintaining professional communication between visitors, site personnel, and Allied Universal leadership while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
