Job Description

As a Security Officer Commercial Warehouse in Stuart, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and respond to alarm‑related situations. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
