Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Cleared (Clearance Required – Unarmed) in Waynesboro, Virginia. This role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, offers a full-time schedule with a standard shift from 6:00am to 5:00pm, and pays hourly at $23.00.

As a Cleared Security Officer, you will protect personnel, property, and classified information, perform patrols, greet visitors, and respond to alarms.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) clearance at the appropriate level.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local law.
• Minimum of three years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site.
• Prior military experience is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills for client-site wireless tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect assets and information.
• Greet guests and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow site manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and incidents in writing or orally.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergencies.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer – Cleared (Clearance Required – Unarmed) in Waynesboro, Virginia. At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you’ll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Hourly Pay Rate $23.00 / per hour Full Time Standard Shift – 6:00am – 5:00pm Active DoD Secret Clearance Required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person’s stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

• Must possess one or more of the following:

• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site

• Prior military experience

• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate’s degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
