What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, visitor procedures, and applicable access‑control requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations through clear and timely reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
