Job Description

Security Officer - Bank Patrol Specialist in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all occupants. Your presence and attention will help to deter security-related incidents while you assist visitors and staff with professionalism and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining visibility, and supporting a positive atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner within the financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as directed by site-specific procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• The applicant will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• The applicant will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
