Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Bank in Dorchester MA

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 1 PM - 9 PM

Starting Pay is $22.85 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officerin Dorchester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors, patients, and staff with professionalism. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
