Qualifications

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access policies.
• Monitor and control access to facilities by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor documentation.
• Operate access control systems, maintain visitor and vehicle records, issue and recover temporary credentials, report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, production areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Operate access control systems, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records, issue and recover temporary credentials, and report access discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
