• Drug screening as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, greet visitors, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain daily activity and incident reports and shift logs; communicate information to leadership and location contacts.

• Sat – 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun – 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken in accordance with location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
