Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed TWIC Security Officer for the Cameron, LA site. The role involves outdoor duties, outdoor conditions, and 12‑hour shifts with a 7-on/7-off schedule. You will provide security, perform patrols, and respond to incidents at various client sites.

Qualifications include 21+ years old, high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years verifiable experience), and an active TWIC card. Military or law enforcement experience with DD214/LEO certification is acceptable.

Qualifications

Our Cameron TWIC site is hiring for Armed Security Officers!

SITE LOCATION: Cameron, LA (55 miles South of Lake Charles)

POSITION: Armed TWIC Security Professional

SHIFTS: 12-hr shifts; AM and Overnight shifts available

SCHEDULE: 7 days on, 7 days off

PAY: $25 / hour / pays weekly

MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 21 years of age or older
• Experience working in direct elements (position is 100% outdoors)
• 2 years of experience in Security or TWIC environment

or

• Former or CurrentMilitary or Law Enforcement
  • (Must have DD214 as proof or LEO certificate)

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to pass background and drug screen
• Unexpired Drivers License and Social Security Card (no copies)
• Active TWIC Card
• Reliable transportation (Location is remote)
• Able to work 12-hour shifts
• Can stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Can work outdoors as site is 100% outdoors

As an Armed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
