Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Perimeter Patrol Officer in Georgetown, SC.

You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent service to patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare location. Must be 21+, have an armed guard card, and pass background checks and drug screening.

As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Tue: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and follow applicable laws, regulations, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures for armed personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
