Job summary

Allied Universal in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Armed Patrol Unit Security Officer to protect tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate site. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, using professional customer service to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The position requires 21+ years old, Armed Guard Card or license, a high school diploma, and successful background checks.

Qualifications

• Must possess Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or other authorized individuals by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering and leaving the location.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur: 10:15 AM - 07:15 PM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
