As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Surveillance in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment for staff, visitors, and patients. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, maintaining awareness of activity throughout the healthcare location.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
