Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Columbus, OH. You will patrol the premises, deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding site policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorized access, report suspicious behavior and maintenance issues.
• Support opening, closing, and daily operations by following post orders and assisting with security requests.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during opening, closing, and daily operations by following post orders and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
