You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide outstanding customer service with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, restricted and parking areas, adapting to site conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or authorizations for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
