Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol to protect healthcare locations. You will conduct routine armed patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism and care, representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork and integrity.

This full-time role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, at least one year of armed security or related experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as per laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly while following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking, building perimeter, and access points.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials, assisting with visitor direction.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and patrol documentation.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, building perimeter, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required, while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with visitor direction.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
