Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Manassas, VA. This role offers flexible, dependable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the ability to pick up additional shifts to earn more.

The position requires an armed guard card, active DoD Secret Clearance, and being at least 21. You will be scheduled for a designated site with potential to scale hours up to 40 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.
• Maintain documentation including patrol activity, incidents, observations, and shift reports.

As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Clearance Required in Manassas, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sun: 05:30 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment "Anchor Shifts": You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incidents, observations, and shift reports, while following applicable armed officer policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
