Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Part Time Credential Enrollment in Jacksonville, FL. You will protect clients across aerospace/defense locations, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while following site procedures.

This role offers part-time hours, competitive pay at $24.69 per hour, and the chance to work with a dynamic team. Candidates should have 3+ years in security or a college degree, plus an armed guard card, and a customer-service

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• Access-control, badge experience, and customer service are preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization before granting access.
• Monitor entry/exit points, visitor-management systems, alarms, and equipment; report issues.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors before granting access to restricted areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, visitor-management systems, alarms, and other access-control equipment; report irregularities and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
