Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government infrastructure location while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, professional judgment.
• Prepare clear reports on patrols, incidents, and observations.

Pay Rate: $17.99 - $23.08 / Hour

• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government infrastructure location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
