Allied Universal is seeking an armed Security Officer for full-time work in Georgetown, SC. You will patrol healthcare facilities, deter unauthorized activity, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Armed - Full Time in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with location-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
