Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Prevention in Fairfax, VA to protect patients, visitors and staff. You will patrol interior areas, parking facilities and perimeters while maintaining a professional armed presence and following location policies.

Requirements include at least two years in security, an Armed Guard Card or license, and a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid is preferred; background checks and a drug screen are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying throughout the location.
• Document incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns accurately, and promptly communicate significant activity to appropriate personnel.
