What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the site, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and/or activities during each shift.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols related to access control, incident reporting, and emergency procedures.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with company and site-specific requirements, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
